Peavey Announces New PV Series

PV 215

A full range of enclosures, subwoofers and monitors, the PV Series stacks up with heavy-duty loudspeakers, titanium compression drivers and impressive high-power handling. The PV 215, PV 115 and PV 112 are loaded with constant-directivity horns that produce clean highs and targeted sound coverage, and range between 800 and 1,400 watts peak power handling.

The series also includes the PV 115D and the PV 215 D, which are the most enduring loudspeaker enclosures from Peavey, now powered with class D technology. The PV 115D and 215D include two, lightweight and portable loudspeaker enclosures, utilizing Peavey’s legendary loudspeaker and class D power amp technology to deliver unparalleled performance and value. They deliver 400 watts of bass-pounding, distortion-free sound utilizing Peavey’s DDT™ compression.

And when it’s time to get the party started, PV Series subwoofers are ready to rumble. The passive PV 118 sub has an optimized internal low-pass crossover network and ranges from 40 Hz to 180 Hz with 400 watts program power handling, while the active PV 118D features a built-in class-D amp that drives an 18″ woofer with 300 watts total power.

No sound-reinforcement line would be complete without monitors, and we offer three models tailored for stage duty. The PV 15PM is an active, 200-watt monitoring system that uses a lightweight, efficient class-D power section and a neodymium-loaded loudspeaker.

Peavey also offers the PV 15M, which is a two-way system with a 15-inch Sheffield® Pro 1500+™ premium woofer and a 14XT™ 1.4-inch titanium-diaphragm compression driver (no piezos) coupled to a constant-directivity horn with Sound Guard™ IV high-frequency driver protection. It is rated at 500 watts program and 1,000 watts peak power handling capability. This rugged trapezoidal enclosure can be angled at either 30 or 45 degrees from the floor in addition to being pole mounted. Two 1/4-inch, full-range parallel inputs allow easy daisy chaining.

The series also includes the PVi 10, which is a two-way speaker system featuring a 10″ woofer and a high frequency drive on an exponential horn. The lightweight-yet-rugged, carpet covered trapezoidal enclosure with top handle is ideal for live music, speech and music playback applications. A full length,

black powder-coated steel grille provides driver protection and a professional appearance. The PVi 10 speaker system is rated at 50 watts program power handling. Its smooth response makes this system ideal for smaller venues where space is at a premium, and its two 1/4″ input connectors keep amplifier hookup simple.

From the school auditorium to the dance club, the new PV series offers premium performance and unparalleled sound quality.
