PRESONUS QMIX Wireless Aux-Mix Control Software for iPhone and iPod touch

Wireless control over aux mixes in Virtual StudioLive and any StudioLive-series digital mixers

With PreSonus QMix™ software, up to ten musicians can simultaneously control their StudioLive™ monitor (aux) mixes using an iPhone® or iPod touch

With free PreSonus QMix™ software, up to tenmusicians can simultaneously control their StudioLive™ monitor (aux) mixes using an iPhone® or iPod touch®, six different mixes with a 16.4.2, ten individual mixes with a 24.4.2 and four mixes with a StudioLive 16.0.2.

QMix works a lot like SL Remote. One or more iPhones network wirelessly with a Mac® or PC, enabling QMix to remotely control Virtual StudioLive, which in turn controls one or more FireWire-connected StudioLive™ mixers.

When each iPhone connects to the new network, its copy of QMix will discover all StudioLive mixers on the network. In this way, each musician can quickly and easily create an aux mix that includes all mixer channels.

Protecting Your PA Sound System

The show you’re mixing is fantastic, hands-down.  The kick drum and bass are grooving perfectly in their respective pockets, the guitar is piercing through with definition, and the clarity of the vocals are pristine.  The energy is overwhelming, the crowd is thumping, and because everything is sounding great, the band is rocking out as hard as they can.  The front man, dancing like a madman, moves right in front of the monitor and lets out his tri-county famous Rock ‘n Roll Wail.  Then it happens – a sharp blast of ear-bleedingly deafening feedback, followed by the muffled noise of stage volume.  Your mains have just been blown, and the show is ruined.

But the worst part is, you could have prevented this situation entirely, with just a few tweaks to your PA Sound System.
