Atlas Sound BIA-100 Bi-Axial Horns
The Atlas Sound BIA-100 is the original reflex horn featuring a bi-axial design with twin air columns and exponential bell for wide-angle coverage with a linear frequency response. The horn provides excellent acoustic loading maintained to a 350 Hz low-frequency roll-off and optimizes delivery of high and mid-range signal levels. BIA-100 is designed for use with Atlas Sound PD Series compression drivers and models having 13/8" -18 male threads and 0.707" dia. throat openings. The easily-mounted horn features the labor-saving patented gimbal-mount bracket assembly (U.S. Patent # 4,325,529) which allows for directional positioning up to 180° vertically and horizontally. It includes a steel bracket, cast-mounting base and provisions for flange installation. The weather-resistant, non-glare matte black foam horn is resistant to resonance. Bracket assembly is finished in durable epoxy. This system includes 3 Atlas Sound PD75T compression drivers to drive the horns at 75W with a 70V transformer.
Atlas Sound AA400PHD 6-Input 400W Mixer Amplifier
The AA400PHD is a six input channel mixer amplifier designed for distributed business paging and background music (BGM) systems, medium to large speech privacy systems, and in applications where music on hold (MOH) plus paging is required. With four microphone/line input and two stereo line inputs, the AA400PHD will accommodate a variety of input sources including paging microphones, media players, and digital music receivers. The AA400PHD includes a patent pending automatic system test, the Push Here Diagnostic® (PHD). The PHD button is designed to check the connected loudspeaker lines for wiring and impedance errors. This test can be activated once all loudspeakers are connected and the circuit automatically verifies that the attached loudspeakers' tap settings do not exceed the amplifier's rated power, no loudspeakers are mistakenly tapped at 8Ω, and the loudspeaker wire is free from shorts.
Shure 577B "Close Talk" PTT Microphone
The Shure Model 577B microphone is a handheld dynamic microphone designed for communications and paging applications that require highly intelligible, low noise output. It can be used in all types of mobile communications, from amateur radio to helicopter news and traffic reports. It is also suitable for public address and paging systems in noisy areas such as factories, airport terminals, and restaurants. The 577B microphone represents a significant improvement over most microphones with anti-noise features. Shaped frequency response, directionality, and distant sound discrimination contribute to total noise reduction. The microphone operates on the pressure-gradient principle and has two sound entry ports spaced a small distance apart. The modular design of the 577B microphone greatly facilitates field servicing. The cartridge, switch, and cable can be replaced in a matter of minutes, if necessary. The 577B is built to withstand mechanical shocks, vibration, high temperatures, and humidity. The exclusive ARMO-DUR® case is impervious to oil, grease, fumes, salt spray, sun, and corrosion. The "Million-Cycle" press-to-talk switch ensures years of reliable service. A mounting bracket is supplied to provide convenient hang-up when the microphone is not in use. Note: For proper operation, mouth-to-microphone distance should be 1 inch (2.5 cm) or less.
