Details
The Furman M-8x AR Voltage Regulator is intended to protect sensitive electronic equipment from problems caused by AC line voltage irregularities such as brownouts, sags, and over-voltage conditions. Such irregularities can cause audio tonal changes, digital equipment malfunctions (such as loss of MIDI programs or other data), or in extreme cases, permanent damage.
The M-8x AR has eight receptacles on the rear panel, and one on the front panel, all are functionally interchangeable. The receptacles are regulated, spike-suppressed, and filtered against RFI with a 3-pole filter, making the M-8X AR a full-function power conditioner. The M-8x AR has no external controls other than an on-off switch.
Note: The M-8x AR is designed for use with AC voltage only and DC voltages should never be applied. Also, the M-8x AR does not change or regulate the line frequency in any way. The output frequency will always be the same as the incoming line frequency.
