The DMSTetrad is quickly built up and ready to use. The DSRTetrad receiver can work with up to four channels of audio in parallel which can be mixed down directly to its balanced XLR sum output. The dynamic frequency selection (DFS) guarantees that only the cleanest frequency bands are automatically selected for the connection between receivers and transmitters. To handle rare dropouts, AKG developed a technology called DROCON which is implemented in the system that is able to conceal occuring dropouts and thus prevent the clicks they can cause.

The DHTTetrad is a professional digital wireless handheld transmitter for license free operation with 10mW in Europe and 100mW outside of Europe. With 24bit, 48kHz audio coding, it provides uncompressed studio-quality transmission and a linear frequency response. It is available in two versions, with D5 or P5 dynamic capsule, perfect for uncompromising vocal performances. 128-bit AES standard encryption prevents tapping of the audio signal, which makes it a perfect companion for high-security conferences.

The DHTTetrad provides digital diversity and an out-of-range warning function to ensure a stable and drop-free signal within the entire operating area. A high/low input gain switch allows optimum level adjustment for clear, distortion-free signals.
