Talk To An Engineer

Description

Details

This Atlas Sound Observation Room Sound System provides a simple solution to remotely listen, record and talk back (optional) from a central location. The microphone feed can connect to a single or central observation room. As the observer watches and listens to the case room, the audio can be routed to a recording device such as a computer or digital recorder. The small microphone size and low profile provides an excellent option for listening and recording observation rooms and discrete applications.

This system allows faculty, trainers, administrators, etc., to observe while working cases without being present in the room. The observer can speak when necessary (through an optional talk back microphone) and also discretely record comments and observations along with the room’s ambient audio. The system can record all audio allowing permanent archiving for future needs by adding an optional recording device.

The Atlas Sound FAP40T is designed to provide high performance in a very compact footprint. It appeals to both system designers and architects. FAP40T is ideal for high-intelligibility voice, music, and signal reproduction in commercial, industrial, and institutional applications. A unique (patent pending) tap selector switch design allows for easy system tuning. A full selection of taps up to 16 watts as well as an 8 ohm transformer bypass setting is included for maximum system versatility. This switch "knob" also functions as a diffuser cone, providing smooth, even dispersion of the high frequency content from the center of the 4" polypropylene driver. In fact, the high frequency response of the FAP40T is so natural that many would assume that the driver in the FAP40T was a coaxial design instead of a single cone driver. Low frequency response is enhanced by the tuned and ported enclosure design. The enclosure (UL1480 pending) is constructed of high impact injection molded plastic and includes a press fit grill design that blends quite well with contemporary architecture. A two pole terminal strip housed below a metal removable cover on the back of the FAP40T enclosure allows for easy system wiring as well as "daisy chain" wiring to other FAP40T's or even FASUB70 subwoofers (a great combination!). This product is sold in pairs.

The Atlas Sound AA30PHD is a 30 Watt, 3-Input Mixer Amplifier that is specifically designed for use in 70.7V speaker systems. The AA30PHD features a unique automatic system test using the front panel "Push Here Diagnostic" button. This internal circuitry is designed to check the connected speaker lines for wiring and impedance errors. This test can be activated once all speakers are connected and the circuit automatically verifies that the attached speakers' tap settings do not exceed the amplifier's rated power, no speakers are mistakenly tapped at 8Ω, and the speaker wire is free from shorts. This allows for quick troubleshooting on site and after the sale.

The AKG PZM10 and PZM10 LL, part of the Pressure Zone Microphone® line, are designed for security, surveillance, and conference-table use. The special housing design allows the microphones to be mounted into tables, walls or ceilings easily and inconspicuously. Using Pressure Zone Microphone® technology, the PZM10 and PZM10 LL are highly sensitive and deliver a wide and smooth frequency response. Thus the PZM10 and PZM10 LL are characterized by excellent clarity and a consistent pickup anywhere around the mic.
