The top unit can also be used alone as a tabletop lectern, by setting it on a table or desk. The top has sides that fold in and fits easily inside the base, which has wheels and a handle for easy transportation. It is loud, battery powered, and runs 6 - 8 hours on single charge. It comes with a gooseneck mic, a USB gooseneck LED reading light, a 1/4" line input and output, and 1/4" mic input if you want to attach a wired mic.
