Definition Install DC12i is the flagship high-performance full range loudspeaker in the series. Based on a magnificent 300 mm (12.00”) version of the Definition Install Dual Concentric Driver, this compact loudspeaker delivers power and performance like no other residential install loudspeaker on the market. The 97dB/Watt efficiency, 400Watt program material power handling and a staggering 800Watt peak power handling allows the DC12i to run consistently at 120dB with short-term peaks over 126dB SPLs if required.

Yet the real highlight of the Definition Install DC12i is its incredibly dynamic, articulate and life-like performance. Using experience gained from over 50years of Dual Concentric driver design and decade of pro-audio engineering excellence, the incredible DC12i driver is a full-range unit (50Hz-38kHz) with exceptionally low distortion and coloration. The Wideband tweeter delivers superior projection and spatial information thanks to its well-regarded Tannoy waveguide while the large mid-bass cone majors on communicating every nuance and effect with visceral impact.

The DI12i’s heavily built and extensively braced cabinet is just 255mm deep with the enclosure and front ports ideally tuned for back to wall placement. The textured black paint finish is rugged and hardwearing and the cabinet is fitted with four keyhole fittings for landscape or portrait orientation wall mounting. The terminal panel featured gold plated binding posts for bare-wire, banana plugs or spade terminals, and is recessed to ensue perfect flush to wall speaker mounting.
