The Allen & Heath DX164-W is a wall-mountable expander that adds remote I/O to a dLive, Avantis or SQ. Each DX164-W features 16 mic preamps with independent Phantom Power LED indicators, plus 4 XLR line outs.

Allen & Heath DX164-W Wall Mount DX Expander
with 16 XLR Inputs and 4 XLR Outputs

The Allen & Heath DX164-W is a wall-mountable expander that adds remote I/O to a dLive, Avantis or SQ. Each DX164-W features 16 mic preamps with independent Phantom Power LED indicators, plus 4 XLR line outs.

The Expander's design allows for wall mount operation or, alternatively, installation in a stage "Dip Trap" making it perfect for fixed installations.

A second DX164-W or a DX168 can be connected when running in Cascade mode. Alternatively, a redundant connection can be made to compatible hardware.

The expander can be operated freestanding, mounted in a floor pocket, mounted on a wall, or flush-mounted in a wall. Different power options are provided to suit the application.

  • DC power can be used as redundant power supply
  • 96kHz converters
