A gain control knob regulates the output level of the subwoofer to set a balance between the speakers and subwoofer.

LED indicators signal when power is on, when the built-in limiter is active, or when the subwoofer is in protect mode to prevent overheating and loss of output. A signal LED indicator also lights up when a signal is received to full range input. The PXW 18 P 18 inch powered subwoofer also rounds out its features with a phase switch for reversing polarity.
