The MAGPIE1-1 is a complete audio amplification system designed to enhance sound clarity in small to medium-sized environments such as classrooms, conference rooms, and training spaces. This all-in-one solution ensures that presenters, educators, and speakers can communicate effectively without straining their voices. Utilizing infrared wireless technology eliminates interference from other electronic devices, providing a reliable and uninterrupted audio experience.

At the core of the MAGPIE1-1 system is the AL2450 amplifier/receiver, which acts as the central hub for all audio inputs and outputs. It features six input channels to accommodate multiple audio sources, a priority page override for important announcements, and intuitive front-panel controls for volume adjustments. Additionally, the amplifier supports up to two infrared wireless microphones, making it easy to facilitate interactive discussions.

Included in the package is the AL-MAGPIE wireless infrared microphone, a lightweight and ergonomic device that delivers crystal-clear audio transmission. Designed for comfort, it features a built-in auxiliary input for an optional headset or lapel microphone, allowing users to tailor their setup based on their needs. The microphone also includes a panic button, which can be integrated with security systems to trigger emergency alerts when necessary.

To keep the microphones powered and ready for use, the MAGPIE1-1 system comes with the AL-MAGPIE-NEST charging station. This compact unit can charge up to two microphones simultaneously and features LED indicators to display the charging status. Its universal power supply compatibility ensures seamless operation in various regions.

An essential component of the system is the AL-IRDS infrared dome transmitter, which distributes the IR signal throughout the room to maintain a strong connection between the microphone and amplifier. The dome transmitter is easy to install and comes with ten meters of coaxial cable for flexible placement options.
