AUDIX MG15 15" MINIATURE GOOSENECK CONDENSER CARDIOID MIC
The Audix MG15 is a professional-grade miniature gooseneck condenser microphone engineered for a wide range of applications, including podium speeches, presentations, meetings, and teleconferencing. Known for its clarity, excellent sound quality, and user-friendly operation, the MG15 excels in capturing and reproducing vocals with precision from a comfortable distance.
Featuring a uniformly controlled cardioid polar pattern, the MG15 effectively isolates the speaker's voice from background noise in room or stage settings. The microphone offers a wide frequency range of 60 Hz to 19 kHz, resulting in natural and lifelike sound with exceptional transient response.
The MG15 gooseneck system is equipped with a sophisticated dual preamp circuitry, with one circuit residing in the capsule housing and the other integrated into the XLR base. This internally balanced circuitry ensures a hum-free audio path while shielding against interference. It also offers protection from RF interference and spurious emissions from devices like cell phones and wireless GSM equipment.
Mounting options include the supplied flange mount (TM1218) or an optional base with an internal shock mount (SMT1218R). These microphones can also be used on a standard microphone stand or in conjunction with the Audix ATS10 table stand, which includes a lighted on-off switch for added convenience.
Manufactured to the highest standards with tight tolerances, the MG15 features a machined brass body, a field-replaceable capsule, replaceable electronics, and a variety of optional accessories. It operates on phantom power ranging from 18 to 52 Volts and is available in a non-reflective black matte finish.
