Introducing the New KS118 Subwoofer from QSC on Pro Acoustics Tech Talk Episode 34

On this episode of Pro Acoustics Tech Talks, Nathan discusses the QSC KS118 3600W subwoofer with Felix from Highway Marketing.

Nathan: Hey guys, Nathan from Pro Acoustics here with another Tech Talk. Checking out what's new from QSC.

Nathan: Alright, here we are at our Salado, Texas location with Felix from Highway Marketing.

Felix: How are you doing?

Nathan: Good, good. Tell me what's new with QSC?

Felix: We have the new KS118 sub. So, a brand new addition to the sub line. You have an 18-inch sub, 3,600 Watts. That's really loud. They also have a deep mode, so if it doesn't go low enough, 41 Hz is not enough, you can go down to 35. Big boost in the low end. It's highly portable, does come on casters, low noise casters. There is a back and forth as well.

Nathan: Okay, cool.

Felix: I know a really cool feature it has, it has DSP mode. Just like the K.2 series has. You can access a crossover. You can set it up at 100 or 80. You can also, like I said, deep mode on and off, but you also can do cardio mode. For that you need to subs and one will face the rear, one will face forward. And it lets you do up to 15 dB of projection back.

Nathan: Nice! Very cool. Very cool. You said 3,600 Watts. So this is an active subwoofer?

Felix: Absolutely.

Nathan: Okay. Gotcha. Very cool. And these are shipping now?

Felix: Yup.
