Compact and Powerful
The Yamaha STAGEPAS 1K portable column PA system provides plenty of power in a compact size. It features a high-output 1000W Class-D amplifier, a class-leading 12" subwoofer, and reduced enclosure size/weight for improved portability.
The J-curve high-frequency speaker array has 10 small-diameter 1.5" units that give you a 170° horizontal and 30° vertical coverage area for consistent sound from the front to the rear of your audience.
The 12” subwoofer in the STAGEPAS 1K is the largest in its class; however, it fits in the smallest cabinet on the market for its size. The subwoofer also utilizes Yamaha’s Twisted Flare Port™ technology to reduce port wind noise, allowing the low-end output to be maximized producing deep, powerful, distortion-free bass with an impressive 119 dB SPL.
Included Digital Mixer
Offering great flexibility, the included 5-channel digital mixer features three channels of mono microphone/line inputs and stereo inputs, with two of the mono input channels equipped with Hi-Z connectivity so you can directly plug in acoustic-electric guitars and other instruments. The mixer’s stereo connections also support playback of Bluetooth devices, making it easy to wirelessly connect with a smartphone or tablet to play music.
Simple Setup, Operation, and Portability
Setting up the STAGEPAS 1K is simple. All you need to do is place the 2 spacers and speaker unit into the subwoofer and plug it into a wall outlet. Everything you need is in the package, and the unit doesn’t require additional cables, speaker stand, or additional gear. The included cover protects the system as well as provides specific storage pouches for the spaces and speaker array which makes set up and take down even easier.
You can focus more of your time and energy on your performance with the simple to operate STAGEPAS 1K that allows you to operate multiple functions with a single knob. The 1-knob EQ allows for optimized multi-band EQ setting, industry-standard SPX reverb, and the “Mode” control for master output compression settings.
The STAGEPAS 1K is also extremely portable. It is lightweight enough to be carried by just about anyone and it only takes about a minute to set up. The cabinet of the subwoofer was designed with portability in mind because it has a high-grade polyurea coating to prevent wear and tear during transport.

STAGEPAS Editor
STAGEPAS Editor is the remote control app that works with the STAGEPAS 1K to give users the capability to adjust volume and EQ at a distance via Bluetooth during rehearsal or performances. You can also save settings for songs ahead of time to shorten the amount of setup time that you need.
Linking Yamaha STAGEPAS 1K Systems
For larger performances, you can link two STAGEPAS 1K portable sound systems to achieve a wider coverage area and higher output power.
