Atlas Sound SM8SUB70-B 8" Surface Mount Subwoofer - Black

The SM8SUB70 8" subwoofer is ideal for restaurants, bars, and high-fashion retail environments. Designed to deliver extended low-frequency response, it features an 8" woofer housed in a 915-cubic-inch, multi-angle, flyable wood enclosure—offering flexible installation options. (Not intended for outdoor use.)

Mounting is simple with included inserts for 1/4"-20 drop forge eyebolts or the optional SM8CBKT-B / -W mounting brackets. An integrated 18 dB/octave, three-pole passive crossover eliminates the need for separate electronic networks or dedicated amplification. With a low 125 Hz crossover point, localization is minimized—allowing designers to boundary-load the SM8SUB70-B near walls or corners for maximum output and even room coverage.

The built-in premium 70.7V transformer makes the SM8SUB70 compatible with commercial 70.7V systems, providing deeper bass and enhanced impact for foreground music applications. It also supports 8Ω operation, offering additional flexibility. This subwoofer pairs perfectly with other SM Series full-range speakers.
