The ALX-8D-B Aimline digitally steerable powered column array loudspeaker is engineered for exceptional speech intelligibility and precision sound coverage in the most challenging acoustic environments. Whether in transportation hubs, traditional houses of worship, corporate atriums, or government facilities, the ALX-8D-B delivers clear, targeted audio exactly where it's needed, while minimizing unwanted reflections from hard surfaces.

Part of the ALX-D Series, the ALX-8D-B incorporates eight high-performance 4" neodymium full-range drivers, each with a dedicated Class-D amplifier and DSP channel. This architecture enables extremely granular vertical beam steering, split-beam operation, and adjustable acoustic center positioning across the column length. With 120° horizontal dispersion and digitally variable vertical coverage from 5° to 40°, it ensures consistent SPL and intelligibility throughout large or reverberant spaces.

Advanced DSP capabilities include FIR and IIR filtering, dynamic EQ, limiting, gain, and delay functions, along with multi-beam capability for complex acoustic challenges. Connectivity is streamlined with standard Dante and AES67 network audio inputs, plus analog and AES/EBU options, eliminating the need for external interfaces. Fully integrated control software provides real-time configuration, telemetry, and beam optimization, while interoperability with AtlasIED GLOBALCOM GCK ensures seamless integration into paging, background music, and critical messaging systems.

The ALX-8D-B's slim, black aluminum enclosure blends discreetly into modern and historic architecture. An optional IP64-rated version is available for installations requiring weather resistance, enabling both indoor and outdoor use.
