The QSC AcousticDesign Series offers unprecedented acoustic performance from a small form factor to enhance the look of any installation. Backed by the QSC legacy of quality and support, this system supports retail, restaurant, hospitality and other commercial spaces. Even at low volume levels, the AcousticDesign Series SUB/SAT loudspeakers provide exceptional warmth and crystal-clear highs for remarkable acoustic ambiance. The AcousticDesign Series offers integrators a premium quality installed sound solution where performance, consistent coverage, and aesthetics are paramount.

This series was designed to support the aesthetics of the most demanding installations and comes equipped with unadorned grills and stylistic (paintable) enclosures. Decora™-compatible MP-MFC wall controllers (sold separately) have a simple, yet elegant design with a crisp display. The MP-MFC wall controllers give end users a graphical display and set of buttons to easily adjust multi-zone selection, scene selection, scene recall, and volume control. Intrinsic Correction™ voicings that optimize performance and speed the install process are easily deployed via the compatible MP-M Series music and paging mixers as well as the Q-SYS Platforms, including CXD-Q Series amplifiers, as part of a complete QSC premium business music system solution (sold separately).

The QSC surface mount package includes four AD-S.SAT small format surface mount satellite speakers and one AD-S.SUB surface mount subwoofer. The AcousticDesign Series SUB/SAT loudspeakers have been specifically designed to be mix-and-match capable. Any combination of satellites may be paired with any subwoofer in the SUB/SAT line. Subwoofers and satellite loudspeakers have the same balanced sonic characteristics that allow for interchangeability between enclosure types.

AD-S.SAT 2.75" Small Format Satellite Surface Loudspeakers

The QSC AD-S.SAT features a high quality 2.75" weather treated paper cone woofer with an inverted aluminum dust cap for extended high-frequency presence within a sealed enclosure. These loudspeakers are rated at 16 Ω, and up to four satellites may be connected to any AcousticDesign Series SUB/SAT subwoofer's high-pass filtered outputs. Satellites also may be used as stand-alone loudspeakers using an external high-pass filter. The input is located on the rear of the loudspeaker and uses a locking 2-pole Euroblock style connectors capable of 12AWG (2 mm) wire thickness. To retain their stylish aesthetics, the rugged ABS baffle is further protected by using UV inhibitors that prevent discoloration. The magnetic grill features a stick-on logo that can be removed blemish-free for installations where branding is not permitted. Installers will appreciate X-Mount™ Mini hardware that ships with the satellites. This mounting solution allows for repeatable angles without drift or sag over time. The mount may be rotated on all four 90° axes for versatile wall or ceiling mounting options.

AD-S.SUB 6.5" Dual Voice Coil Small Format Surface Subwoofer

The QSC AD-S.SUB features a high-quality 6.5" weather treated paper cone woofer on a dual voice-coil for improved thermal dissipation and higher output within a small form factor. The accurate frequency response of the AD-S.SUB is maintained even in 70 / 100 V applications by use of a low-loss, low-saturation 100 W transformer with selectable taps, including 4 Ω bypass in mono mode. The AD-S.SUB includes built-in high-pass filtered outputs for connecting up to four AcousticDesign Series satellite loudspeakers. This feature greatly reduces system setup, amplifier channel count, and allows for ease of wiring. The inputs and outputs are located behind a reversible rear panel. The input panel features convenient cable tie anchor points to dress the installation. All in-thru and outputs are terminated to locking 4-pole Euroblock style connectors capable of 12AWG (2 mm) wire thickness. Configuring the AD-S.SUB for operation is made simple by clearly defined rotary selectors and isolated inputs allowing for faster and more reliable setup. The two-piece mounting system is a slip locking V design with minimal wall protrusion and has a set screw to lock in place. The wall mounting hardware is also reversible allowing the port tubes to be oriented in the desired direction.
