What is BGM Paging and Music Ducking?

• High-quality commercial mixer amplifiers for background music and paging includes a feature called ducking. Background music, paging and music ducking allows your background music to subtly fade into a low level of sound while you make an announcement or page a customer. When your announcement or page is finished, the music will slowly return to its previously set volume. Your guests won’t notice the background music interfering with the paging system.
  
  

How does BGM Paging and Music Ducking work?

• Once you've set your background music to the appropriate level, simply start by talking into your microphone and the BGM mixer amplifier will taper down the current music or program allowing your announcement to be heard. When the announcement is complete, the music level will automatically return to its preset level.
