This office sound masking system effectively raises the ambient noise level of your office making speech noise less intelligible and therefore less distracting. The Quam sound masking speakers offer multiple mounting options, upward, downward and/or side firing to fit your space appropriately. The sound masking generator with 25-watt amplifier produces analog pink noise and allows you to add paging and background music to your sound system.

About the System Components

This Pro Acoustics designed sound system includes six Quam MA/E8/S2/T8 sound masking loudspeakers, a Lowell SMGA-25 sound masking generator with a 25W amplifier, and 500' of 18/2 non-plenum audio speaker wire.

Quam MA/E8/S2/T8 Sound Masking Loudspeakers:

Lowell SMGA-25 Sound Masking Generator with 25W Amplifier:

• Noise Generator: Pre-EQ and Post-EQ line level (~500mV) pink noise signal output. Pre-EQ output has flat spectrum that can be used as the input to equalizers that feed power amplifiers for masking systems that require precise equalization. Post-EQ output spectrum is adjusted by bass, mid, and treble controls and can be used for less demanding applications that utilize basic spectrum shaping
• Amplifier: Speaker line output is adjusted by bass, mid, and treble controls
• Power supply with universal input (100-240VAC) and 24VDC @ 2.5A output
• Chassis: 12.2" x 3.2" x 6" (plus rackmount brackets)
