Inside the Design

This IP enabled system with VOIP PoE speakers and LCD displays can be used in conjunction with Cisco IP phones allowing for multi-zone paging, emergency messaging and strobes, as well as music and public address, great for applications such as industrial facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers. When used within a Cisco Environment, these same IP speakers from AtlasIED can join Cisco's Unified Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) as a supported device within SRST endpoint Architecture. Cisco's SRST provides remote location call-processing redundancy when access to the centralized Cisco Unified Communications Manager is interrupted because of a WAN outage.

• IP-DD PoE+ dual-sided LCD endpoints with speakers supports both visual text and audio broadcast to enhance physical security while improving day-to-day communications through advanced alerting, bell schedules, pre-recorded and scheduled announcements

About the System Components

This Pro Acoustics designed IP notification and sound system includes an AtlasIED IP100-CS GLOBALCOM IP announcement control system, eight IP-SDMF PoE+ indoor wall mount IP loudspeakers with LCD displays and LED flashers along with IP-SEST-SD straight enclosures. Six IP-DD PoE+ IP compliant dual sided LCD endpoints with speakers, and twelve IP-HVP PoE+ vandal and weather resistant wall mount IP speakers with IP-SEST-HVP straight enclosures.

AtlasIED IP100-CS GLOBALCOM IP Announcement Control System:

• Manages dynamic requests for live, delayed, and prerecorded messages (simple and assembled)
• Manages record and playback of ad hoc messages
• Manages text-to-speech messages
• Manages mute actions (by zone or zone group) and two-way full-duplex intercom connections
• Allows up to 65,565 messages priority levels with NeverMISS™ capability
• Manages thousands of audio and video output zones over local or wide area networks utilizing a variety of industry-standard IP based protocols
• LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) and Active Directory supported
• Initiate announcements by contact closure, paging stations, open standard IP network commands, and the built-in VoIP telephone interface
