The SD5's array of custom-engineered drivers works in perfect harmony with its powerful tweeter design to reduce frequency cancellation and provide crystal clear sound, giving this system better audio coverage and response than most loudspeaker systems. With selectable 8 Ohm and 70 Volt inputs, this speaker works with any commercial or stereo amplifier.
In case of an emergency, you don’t need to worry about switching off your audio or adjusting volume and inputs. The amplifier includes an emergency input, which stops all other audio transmissions and allows emergency voice alarm systems to be heard loud and clear, so presenters and attendees can respond to emergencies efficiently and safely.
About the System Components
This conference sound system includes two of our 2'x2' SD5 SuperDispersion® ceiling speaker arrays. Each offers 360° of crystal-clear audio coverage with three 5.25" drivers and a 3" tweeter in a thin and lightweight design that is simple to install. Also included a Rolls MA1705 5-input 70V mixer amp in a compact single rack space designed for installation applications. The Shure BLX1288/CVL dual channel combo wireless system with a handheld and lapel mic gives world-class design and construction with quality and durable intuitive controls, easy setup and operation. Accessories include a patch cable and 100' of 18/2 non-plenum speaker wire. This meeting room sound system package is an ideal solution for applications requiring excellent vocal intelligibility.
