This complete sound masking solution includes eight Cambridge Qt Active Emitters, a Cambridge Qt X 300 multi-zone sound masking generator and control module, power supply, power injector, and the necessary installation cables. The system supports sound masking along with paging and background music and can be expanded to accommodate additional emitters for specific application requirements.

Cambridge Qt Active Emitter Sound Masking Speakers

The Cambridge Qt Active Emitter is a single-source emitter capable of providing sound masking while simultaneously reproducing clear paging and music signals. It provides higher SPL and a broader frequency range than previous direct field emitter offerings in a compact speaker designed to be virtually invisible once deployed in finished or open-structure ceilings. The Qt Active Emitter provides a flexible solution for offices requiring speech privacy, paging, and background music from the same emitter.

Cambridge Qt X 300 Sound Masking Multi-Zone Generator

The Cambridge Qt X 300 is a three-zone sound masking generator, controller, third-octave band equalizer, and amplifier designed for medium multi-zone spaces up to 36,000 square feet (3,345 m²). The system provides independent adjustment of sound masking and auxiliary audio levels and spectra across three zones. AVB media networking, two auxiliary audio inputs, and control for Qt Standard or Qt Active emitters provide a flexible solution for sound masking, paging, and background music applications.

The Qt X 300 provides front-panel control with an LCD interface, adjustable equalization, auto ramping, event scheduling, and four non-correlated masking sources per zone. Network features include dual network ports for media and control, a web interface, and third-party control capabilities through Ethernet. The system also supports fire-alarm contact closure integration and includes a built-in NTP clock for network-based time synchronization.
