The XTreme with inline push-to-talk (PTT) is the most rugged headset in the Eartec product line. They are designed specifically to provide effective voice communication wherever safety headgear, including hard hats or "Bump Caps" are required. What separates the XTreme from standard headsets is that they include a heavy duty stainless spring steel back band along with an over the head strap in place of a standard over the top headband.
