Electro-Voice 309A Suspension Shock Mount
The 309A suspension shock mount is engineered for professional audio environments, delivering near-perfect mechanical isolation for RE20, RE27N/D, and RE320 dynamic microphones. Ideal for broadcast, recording, or live applications, it significantly reduces unwanted vibrations and handling noise while complementing the microphones' built-in internal shock mounts.
Installation is simple and tool-free. The mount features a bayonet locking mechanism to securely hold the microphone, along with a wing-type set screw for additional locking after proper positioning. This dual-safety design ensures the microphone remains firmly in place under all conditions, whether mounted on a recording boom or a floor stand. A 5/8"-27 threaded stand adapter is included for versatile placement.
Four molded neoprene shock cords suspend and support the microphone within a sturdy aluminum and steel frame, isolating it from mechanical shock and vibration while maintaining optimal microphone alignment. Compact, robust, and designed with professional use in mind, the 309A shock mount ensures a reliable, vibration-free audio capture every time.
