The EVC-1082-96PIW in white is a compact, cost-effective 2-way passive loudspeaker engineered for professional fixed-install applications. It combines a high-output 8" low-frequency woofer with a 1 1/4" titanium dome compression driver mounted on a rotatable constant directivity waveguide. This design provides smooth, linear response with precise vertical and horizontal control, covering 90° horizontal and 60° vertical, making it ideal for speech, music, and multi-purpose installations.

A fourth-order Linkwitz-Riley passive crossover ensures smooth off-axis response and clarity throughout the critical vocal range, while the high-efficiency drivers maintain low distortion and maximum intelligibility at high sound pressure levels. The durable 15-mm plywood enclosure is coated with EVCoat for weather resistance and longevity. Multiple M10 rigging points and optional mounts, including a U-bracket or multi-mount pan/tilt wall bracket, allow versatile placement for indoor or outdoor use.

For 70V/100V operation, the input panel can accommodate EV's TK150 audio transformer. When used, EV's Automatic Saturation Compensation (ASC) maintains low-frequency performance while presenting a stable load to the amplifier, ensuring transformer and non-transformer units sound virtually identical. With optional NL4-type connectors or weatherized gland-nuts and support for wire gauges up to 10 AWG, the EVC-1082-96PIW delivers professional sound and installation flexibility in a clean white, weather-resistant package.
