Electro-Voice EVID 6.2W Dual 6-Inch Surface-Mount Loudspeakers
The EVID 6.2W is an extended-range dual 6" 2-way loudspeaker pair designed for high-quality sound in large indoor and outdoor spaces. Its 600W 8-ohm configuration delivers ample SPL for venues such as shopping malls, sports bars, health clubs, and commercial facilities requiring both foreground and background audio coverage.
Featuring a three-dimensional elliptic baffle, the EVID 6.2W symmetrically positions a 1" titanium direct radiator high-frequency driver with a Coherent Coverage Waveguide between two 6" low-frequency drivers. The 10° splay of the LF units and careful driver placement control lobing and interference, creating consistent line-array coverage and smooth, balanced sound throughout the listening area.
The white, weather-resistant enclosure is magnetically shielded and equipped with a Strong-Arm Mount, offering flexible horizontal and vertical aiming angles for precise positioning. A curved grille with integrated safety leash ensures durability and professional appearance. Transformer versions are also available for constant-voltage systems, and all models can be painted to match decor. The EVID 6.2W 8-ohm pair provides reliable, high-performance audio for any demanding commercial installation.
