This library sound masking system is designed to improve acoustics and enhance speech privacy in study areas and multi-purpose learning spaces. Featuring eight Cambridge Qt Active Emitter loudspeakers, the system delivers uniform, unobtrusive masking sound while supporting paging and background audio. The Cambridge Qt X 300 3 Zone Sound Masking Generator with AVB Media Network provides flexible control over three separate zones, allowing library staff to tailor masking levels for optimal acoustical comfort. Power is supplied via the Cambridge Active Emitter Power Supply and Power Injector, ensuring reliable operation across all emitters.

Cambridge Qt Active Emitter Loudspeakers

The Cambridge Qt Active Emitter is a compact, high-output speaker designed for direct field sound masking. It delivers consistent, uniform coverage across a wide frequency range, supporting both speech privacy and clear reproduction of paging and music signals. Once installed in finished or open ceilings, these emitters remain virtually invisible, providing effective sound masking without impacting the aesthetic of the space.

Cambridge Qt X 300 3 Zone Sound Masking Generator

The Cambridge Qt X 300 is a three-zone sound masking generator ideal for medium multi-zone spaces. With integrated AVB media network support, it allows flexible and precise control of masking levels and zones. Users can manage the system through an intuitive front panel or remotely via Qt Monitoring and Control software on a PC, Mac, or tablet. The generator also supports auxiliary audio inputs for paging or background music, making it a complete acoustical solution for libraries and study areas.

Cambridge Active Emitter Power Supply

The Cambridge Active Emitter Power Supply provides stable, reliable DC power to all Qt Active Emitters in the system. Designed for continuous operation, it ensures optimal emitter performance, consistent sound masking coverage, and efficient energy management in multi-zone installations.

Cambridge Active Emitter Power Injector

The Cambridge Active Emitter Power Injector simplifies installation by delivering power to remote emitters over the same cable used for signal distribution. This reduces wiring complexity while maintaining reliable operation and consistent sound quality across the system.
