The LA-490 ListenWIFI Bluetooth/IR beacon is a compact, lightweight solution designed to automate channel selection in ListenWIFI assistive listening systems. By transmitting Bluetooth and infrared signals, the LA-490 helps compatible mobile apps and LWR-1050 Wi-Fi Audio Receivers identify a user's location and automatically connect them to the appropriate audio channel, eliminating the need for manual channel selection or QR code scanning.
Designed for professional venue installations, the LA-490 supports flexible placement with adjustable transmission power and interval settings. It can be powered by battery or USB and can be mounted on a wall or attached to an electrical box. Setup and programming are handled through the ListenWIFI Manager software for Windows, while its secure, tamper-resistant design helps maintain reliable operation in public environments.
