What sets the ADX2FD/B87A apart is its Frequency Diversity (FD) mode, allowing it to transmit RF on two discrete carriers simultaneously for maximum signal stability and dropout protection. An optional 50mW High Power mode provides stronger signal performance when needed, ensuring reliable coverage even in challenging RF environments.

Built into a durable, lightweight, and moisture-resistant metal housing with a sleek black finish, the ADX2FD/B87A is engineered for the rigors of touring and professional production. It offers up to 6.5 hours of runtime with the SB920A rechargeable battery when transmitting on two carriers, or up to 9 hours on a single carrier, giving performers extended freedom on stage. External contacts support docked charging, with the option of a fully covered radome for additional protection.

With Diversity ShowLink®, users gain remote control and real-time interference avoidance, allowing seamless adjustments to transmitter parameters directly from the booth. The transmitter also supports two transmission modes: Standard for optimal coverage and High Density for maximizing available channel count. For added peace of mind, it offers encryption-enabled secure transmission to protect audio content.

The ADX2FD/B87A is fully compatible with Axient® Digital Wireless Systems, combining Shure’s most advanced digital wireless technology with the flexibility and renowned vocal clarity of the Beta®87A capsule. Each unit ships with two SB920A rechargeable batteries, ensuring you’re ready for performance after performance.
