Description

This Lowell ES-8-RIB rough-in bridge is designed to be mounted in new construction, drywall or plaster ceiling before finished ceiling is installed to serve as a placeholder for ES-82CDT, ES-8TSUB, or ES-82T ceiling speakers. Built tough with 20-gauge steel construction with a galvanized finish, it features 3/16" diameter mounting holes on 16" and 24" centers.

  • Installation: Mount to joists, rafters, trusses, metal rails, or other ceiling support structures. NOTE: Because the types of screws required to mount the bridge vary widely depending on the construction of the ceiling structure, mounting screws are not included with the bridge and should be supplied by the installer
  • Compatible Speakers (sold separately): Lowell ES-82T: 8" 120W coaxial speaker with transformer, grille, enclosure -  Lowell ES-82CDT: 8" 150W coaxial speaker w/transformer, grille, enclosure - Lowell ES-8TSUB: 8" 120W subwoofer w/transformer, grille, enclosure
