OWI 2X2VG-HD2S61 6" 2x2 Amplified In-Ceiling Speaker
The 2X2VG-HD2S61 is a three-source integratable amplified ceiling speaker on a 2x2 full vinyl grill with a backcan enclosure. The amplifier provides three source inputs: a stereo 3.5 mm mini-jack line input, a POP auxiliary input, and a CAT5 input for connection to the OWI MC4 mixer. The system delivers up to 40W of Class AB power directly to the speaker and can drive up to three additional non-amplified speakers.
The amplifier is designed with an electronic shunt to help conform to NFPA72 life-safety requirements and supports talkback paging applications. By placing the amplifier within inches of the speaker, the system provides low source impedance for damping control and high-fidelity audio reproduction without requiring an external amplifier. The modular design also allows additional capabilities, including Bluetooth, digital inputs, or additional inputs, through optional upgrade boards connected via the RJ45 input.
The OWI 2X2VG-HD2S61 is suited for projector, microphone, music, and paging applications. It includes a 15V DC UL Listed Level 5 power supply and provides protection against short circuits and overheating.
