Excellent Speaker. We have one of these mounted on top of a press box connected @4 ohms w/400 watts, aimed 20 feet past 2nd base on a high school baseball field, with two smaller Polk Atrium 8's as the near field sound for fans/stands. The sound is great for the entire fan sitting area with very clear and full sound all the way to the centerfield fence. Sounds night and day better than any of the other dozens and dozens of high school baseball fields we have been to in the last 10 years. Connected with a Crown XLS1502 amp and Denon DN-312X Mic/Line mixer with 3 band EQ. Other than that, all we have is 12 gauge wire and a Shure mic as the press box mic. Surprising sound. Visiting fan bases have inquired about it several times.
