Shure MXW2X/BETA58 Handheld Microphone with Beta58A Cartridge

The MXW2X/BETA58 handheld transmitter combines the professional-grade Beta58A dynamic microphone with the advanced Microflex Wireless neXt system. Designed for presenters, lecturers, and Q&A sessions, it delivers focused, supercardioid sound while minimizing feedback and unwanted room noise. Its ergonomic handheld design makes it easy to pass around, ensuring consistent vocal clarity in challenging acoustic environments.

Equipped with a rechargeable SB908 lithium battery, the MXW2X/BETA58 provides up to 25 hours of operation and recharges quickly. Users can monitor battery life, room assignment, and other settings via the built-in information display. The transmitter also includes a programmable mute button, optional push-to-talk functionality, and a power switch that can be disabled to prevent accidental shutdown.

For wireless performance, the MXW2X/BETA58 offers dual transmit antennas for consistent range, adjustable transmit power up to 160 feet (50 meters), and AES-256 encrypted transmission for secure audio. Integrated alerts notify users if they are out of range or need to return the transmitter to its charging station, making it a reliable, professional solution for modern conference and presentation environments.
