SolidDrive SD-1 Titanium Surface Mount Actuator
The SD-1 is a drywall-focused surface mount actuator that transforms walls into invisible, full-range speakers. Using patent-pending dual-voice coil technology with high-powered neodymium magnets and dual opposed motors, the SD-1 converts audio signals into powerful vibrations that are transferred directly into drywall surfaces. This produces high-quality sound radiating uniformly across the room.
Each SD-1 is designed for a single audio channel and mounts securely to drywall using a patented cantilever spring bracket, ensuring hidden planar-source acoustics and acoustical uniformity throughout the listening space. An optional equalization module optimizes the SD-1 for drywall performance, allowing it to deliver a frequency response of 60 Hz - 15 kHz and rich, immersive audio.
