The Tannoy VSX 15DR is designed to complement Tannoy VX and VXP Series full-range loudspeakers, as well as offering a highly potent low-frequency device for use with many of Tannoy's other systems, such as VLS Series or DVS Series. Extending the frequency response of these systems to below 40 Hz, the VSX 15DR can be deployed as part of any system designed to provide high impact background music in applications ranging from clubs, bars and cafes, right through to theatres and AV presentations.
The VSX 15DR utilizes a single high efficiency 380 mm (15”) drive unit mounted in a compact and sturdy, black or white painted cabinet which is constructed from 18 mm (0.71”) multi-ply birch hardwood. This heavy-duty construction ensures it is designed to survive the punishment that speaker systems are subjected to on the road and in club installations.
Featuring a rugged and durable birch ply enclosure, with ergonomic Integrip™ carry handles and integrated, recessed termination panels with speakON NL4 and barrier strip connections for ease of install, the VSX 15DR is a highly flexible subwoofer solution. As well as in fixed installs, VSX 15DR can easily be coupled with VX Series and VXP Series and VSX Series column loudspeakers for portable and live PA applications thanks to an integrated pole-mount recess and the optional VTH pole mount.
