The TOA MA-725F-AM Matrix Amplifier is developed from years of experience providing mixer-amplifiers for the retail industry (with a client list that’s a virtual “who’s who” of retail) and with the cooperation of some of its top players, the MA-725F-AM is designed to address the demand for a simpler and more cost-effective, mid-level background music and paging systems needing higher power with multiple zones.  Just as advanced as some of its high-priced kin, but without the complicated setup or programming required by many other solutions.

At its core, the MA-725F-AM is a 6-input matrix mixer: 4 of its inputs are configured for BGM or other line-level sources, while two balanced inputs are designated for priority sources, such as paging mics or message players. This is coupled in a single chassis with a 4 x 250W (@70 or 100V) Class D amplifier, capable of driving large speaker compliments with maximum efficiency.  A totally digital product sporting 24Bit/48kHz digital sound quality, its simple user-interface belies its advanced inner workings. The only controls any user needs to access are the front panel source select buttons and four output level (zone) controls. All other controls are placed on the rear panel to prevent unauthorized tampering. An optional wall control (WP-700-AM) can be connected via a single CAT5 cable to each of the four output channels, allowing access to volume and source select.

The digital mixer section also features a menu of 32 speaker EQ presets (selectable by dip-switch), factory-loaded to optimize the sound of most popular TOA PA speakers. It even provides settings to allow bi-amping with subwoofers. Additional memories are also provided for storing custom EQ presets. TOA will also offer a non-powered (MM-700F) Matrix Mixer only version for use with other amplifiers.

The MM-700F-AM matrix pre-amplifier performs matrix controls from 4 LINE plus 2 MIC/LINE level inputs to 4 output channels. Each output channel features 64 DSP preset selections for general equalizations, crossover for sub-woofers, or a variety of TOA speakers' EQ settings. 2 MIC/LINE inputs have 1st and 2nd priority levels which can override at assigned output channels automatically or manually. If connected with optional WP-700-AM wall remotes via CAT-5 cable, audio source selection and volume controls can be done remotely. All assignments and setups can be done by dip switches on its rear panel without a laptop or a PC. This unit fits a wide range of applications that require multi-zone paging and/or background music distribution at restaurants, retail stores, factories, and many other venus.

The WP-700-AM is a remote control switch/volume panel that is designed for the MA-725F-AM (or MM-700F-AM) amplifiers, which can remote select input source and adjust volume levels through an Ethernet cable connected to the MA-725F-AM (or MM-700F-AM) amplifier. It can also be mounted in a 1-gang electrical box (American type).

• 4 stereo-summing line inputs with matrix routing to 4 amplifier outputs
• Each line input has input level adjustment and assign restriction setting for each output to prevent routing selection
• 2 priority MIC/LINE inputs with different priority level for paging or other pre-recorded source which can override the selected line input on assigned output channels
• Each priority input also has input level, mute sensitivity and mute hold time adjustments
• Each output channel is equipped with 250W Class-D amplifier at 70V/100V output voltage selectable with independent DSP preset selection and 50Hz HPF for the protection of connected speakers
• Selectable DSP preset selections include general EQs, like Loudness curves, TOA speaker EQs and crossover settings to be used with subwoofers
• Each output channel also has auxiliary line output to deliver audio to other systems
• This matrix doesn’t need any PC programming or network connection for setup at site (Maintenance purpose only)
• Optional wall mount remote control, WP-700 can be connected via CAT-5 straight LAN cable to control the line input selection and output volume of each output
• Class-D amplifier has various protection features against over current, high temperature and short circuit of speaker lines at each output channel
• Power supply with Power Factor Correction for reduced power consumption and world-wide operating range
