Williams Sound TL S10 Convey Language Translator (Discontinued)

Listening is more than just hearing someone, it is about understanding them as well. And sometimes, understanding simply must come from communicating in the same language. With that in mind, Williams Sound is reinventing the art of listening with the introduction of the new Convey room translator. Convey was designed to enable integrators to easily add translation technology to an audio system design.

Convey takes audio input from a mixer and sends the audio to the Google Cloud for real-time translation. Google Cloud then returns the audio stream with the audio translated. Convey allows the translation to be heard over a listening system or seen as text on a video overlay. Translated audio can be broadcast over a Williams AV WaveCAST assistive listening system, allowing each end user the option of listening to the translation on a WaveCAST receiver or on a personal device, such as a smartphone.
