About the System Components
Sonos Era 100 SL Compact Wireless Speakers - Black
The Sonos Era 100 SL is a premium compact wireless speaker designed to deliver rich, detailed sound with convenient streaming and intuitive control. Featuring three Class D digital amplifiers, dual angled tweeters with custom waveguides, and a powerful midwoofer, each speaker reproduces crisp highs, balanced midrange frequencies, and deep, rich bass. Built-in WiFi 6 compatibility, Bluetooth 5.3, and Apple AirPlay 2 provide flexible music streaming options, while the Sonos app allows users to manage playback, adjust volume, and organize multiple speakers into separate listening zones. All eight speakers can be grouped for synchronized music throughout a fitness facility, or configured into individual rooms and stereo pairs for flexible audio control. The microphone-free design eliminates built-in voice assistants, while Trueplay tuning with a compatible iOS device helps optimize sound for the surrounding acoustics. With a sleek black finish and compact design, the Era 100 SL is ideal for hotel gyms, apartment fitness centers, Pilates studios, barre studios, and other fitness environments where high-quality background music is desired.
Sonos Era 100 Wall Mounts - Black
The Sonos Era 100 wall mounts provide a secure, space-saving mounting solution designed specifically for Sonos Era 100 and Era 100 SL speakers. Featuring a matching black finish, these mounts create a clean, professional appearance while keeping speakers off the floor and away from exercise equipment, walkways, and valuable workout space. Their adjustable design allows speakers to be positioned toward designated listening areas for effective sound distribution, while providing access to speaker controls and cable connections. Each pair includes two wall mounts, allowing two speakers to be securely installed. With four pairs included, all eight Era 100 SL speakers can be wall-mounted throughout the facility, creating an organized installation that complements modern fitness interiors.
Recommended Fitness Applications
This system is best suited for hotel and apartment gyms, Pilates studios, barre studios, stretching and recovery spaces, standard yoga studios, and other low- to moderate-volume fitness environments. It is not recommended for hot yoga studios or locations exposed to excessive heat, direct water exposure, or condensation. This system is also not intended for high-intensity fitness applications such as Zumba or CrossFit that typically require higher sound pressure levels and instructor microphone reinforcement. For facilities seeking additional bass performance, a compatible Sonos wireless subwoofer can be purchased separately and paired with a supported speaker or stereo pair.
Installation Note: Each speaker requires a nearby AC power outlet and a reliable WiFi network for setup and synchronized multiroom playback. The Sonos Era 100 SL is rated for operating temperatures from 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C). Although humidity-resistant, the speakers are not waterproof or water-resistant and should not be exposed to direct water or condensation. This system does not include a subwoofer or instructor microphone. Commercial music playback requires appropriate licensing, and music used for instructor-led fitness classes may require additional public-performance licensing.
