The DHR12 is a 2-way bi-amp powered loudspeaker equipped with a 12-inch woofer and a 1.4-inch HF driver, perfect for use as a main or utility speaker. Combining a 1000W amplifier and high-performance DSP with the same plywood construction found on Yamaha's high-end DZR Series, the DHR12 offers best-in-class sound quality and durability.

It features a plywood cabinet that delivers clear sound with minimal vibration and includes a polyurea coating for a robust, scratch-resistant surface. Despite housing a 12-inch low-frequency driver, the DHR12 maintains a compact size while still providing excellent low-frequency response. It can be installed in either a horizontal or vertical configuration, with a rotatable HF horn that adds flexibility for a wide range of environments. The optional UB-DXRDHR12 U-bracket supports both vertical and horizontal mounting. Dual-angle pole sockets allow for either a 0° or -7° down tilt, and rigging points are included for use with eye bolts. Yamaha’s proprietary FIR-X™ tuning provides FIR filtering and corrective EQ to minimize phase distortion.
