The SWP2‑10MMF is a professional 10-port EtherCON Layer 2 switch designed for high-performance Dante audio networks. With a 10G multimode fiber (MMF) uplink using 10GBASE-SR ports, it ensures stable operation even on networks with high channel counts and 96 kHz sampling, delivering sufficient bandwidth for large-scale live sound or installed audio systems.

For ease of setup, the switch provides recommended settings for Dante, including QoS, Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE), and IGMP Snooping, configurable via simple DIP switches. Three types of preset VLANs allow audio and control signals to be separated for enhanced stability, while custom VLAN configurations can also be applied to meet specific network needs.

Network visibility is enhanced through the Yamaha Audio Network Monitor for Windows, which allows monitoring of Dante devices and port connectivity, while the unit’s front indicators provide at-a-glance VLAN status. Built for both permanent and temporary setups, the SWP2‑10MMF supports rack mounting, EtherCON and opticalCON connections, AC IN and redundant DC power via XLR-4-32, ensuring reliability and peace of mind in professional audio environments.
