Alfatron ALF-DSP44-U 4x4 Digital Audio Signal Processor with USB Audio and AEC

The Alfatron audio Digital Signal Processor (DSP) is equipped with several core technical features to simulate the work of an audio engineer. It consists of 4 analogue inputs and 4 analogue outputs, USB audio, RS-232, RS-485, and IP control. With one ADI SHARC 21489 processor, it is equipped with advanced audio processing modules including acoustic echo cancellation (2 channels), noise suppression, and auto-mixing. The analogue-to-digital (A/D) and digital-to-analogue (D/A) converters on the input and output stages feature a 48 kHz sampling rate and 24-bit resolution, providing high-definition audio sampling and processing. It also has a dynamic range of 110 dB and a maximum level of +24 dBu. Input and output processing modules include expanders, compressors, Acoustic Gain Compensation (AGC), parametric EQ, feedback suppression, noise suppression, and delay.

DSP-based audio management, routing, processing, and control are facilitated via a computer running the GUI software. The Alfatron DSP controller software is a Windows-based application used to configure and control the ALF-DSP44-U. The software provides parameter adjustments and peripheral accessory settings for all modules, including RS-232, RS-485, and click-and-drag panel configuration. The user interface allows the engineer to customize the controls so that integrators, on-site technicians, or end users can operate the system. Advanced security features allow end users to access only the controls permitted by the engineer or designer.
