Description

Alfatron ALF-SUK4-8K 8K HDMI 2.1 1x4 Splitter and Scaler

The ALF-SUK4-8K is an HDMI 2.1 splitter, scaler, and stabilizer with one HDMI input and four HDMI outputs. Full HDMI 2.1 support, 40 Gbps bandwidth, and HDR support help ensure stable signaling, even at high bandwidths. The unit is HDCP 2.3 compliant. This splitter includes audio de-embedding, scaling, EDID management, and front-panel LED indicators for power and signal status.

Supports resolutions up to 8K 60 Hz 4:2:0, 8K 30 Hz 4:4:4, and 4K 120 Hz. EDID management is configured through a 5-pin DIP switch, allowing the source to use a display's EDID or internally stored EDID settings.

De-embedded audio outputs include one balanced audio output, one optical output, and one RCA output. Downscaling supports conversion from 8K to 4K and from 4K to 1080p for legacy displays. The device firmware can be updated in the field through the USB port.

Most Alfatron products come with a 7-year limited warranty. Register your product with Alfatron to receive an additional 3-year extended warranty on eligible products, for 10 years of total coverage.

Analog (Balanced) PCM 2.0 CH
Analog ( on RCA) PCM 2.0 CH
HDCP Management Input: HDCP 2.3 and backward compatible
Output: Manageable (Default: follow the display).
For example: it will output HDCP 1.4 when the source is HDCP 2.3, or 2.2 when connected to an HDCP 1.4 display. It will turn off HDCP if the display does not support HDCP
Can turn off HDCP by DIP switch compulsory
Downscaling Capability 1: "By-PASS" status: it will pass through whatever from inputs to outputs without any processing
2: "AUTO" Status, rules as below:
2.1: If the source is 8K and the displayer Max supports 4K, it will downscale to 4K
2.2: If the source is 4K and the displayer Max supports 1080p, it will downscale to 1080p
2.3: If the source is 4K, and the displayer Max supports 720p, it will downscale to 720p
3: Scale limitation
3.1: The outputs will downscale to SAME resolution only if 4 outputs are all on "AUTO" mode, CAN'T do different resolution on output (because there is only one scaler inside, e.g., output 2 & 3 on "AUTO" mode, then both output 2 & 3 will be same resolution output)
3.2: Can't downscale from 8K to 1080p/720p. If the source is 8K, but the displayer's max supports 720p, both the outputs can only downscale to 1080p; for that displayer, max supports 720p, will have a black screen
USB The firmware can be updated
