Supporting both low-impedance and distributed audio systems, the amplifier provides 100V, 70V, 50V, and 35V output taps, making it well suited for multi-zone commercial sound installations. Its four independent channels can be configured for four mono zones, two stereo zones, or bridged dual-mono and stereo applications.
The REVAMP4240T incorporates two high-efficiency switching-mode power supplies and an efficient Class D output topology for reliable power delivery. A built-in limiter continuously controls the output level to help protect the amplifier and connected loudspeakers while maintaining dynamic audio performance. Each input also provides adjustable sensitivity to properly match the amplifier to different source levels, while the integrated 250 Hz high-pass filter can be used to optimize system performance when driving horn loudspeakers.
Designed for professional installation environments, the REVAMP4240T features four balanced Euroblock inputs along with four unbalanced RCA inputs with passthrough connections. A front-panel display provides clear operating status, while the variable-speed cooling fan activates as needed for thermal management. Comprehensive protection circuitry includes overcurrent and over-temperature protection for dependable operation. The 2U rackmount chassis fits standard 19-inch equipment racks, providing a flexible, high-power amplification solution for commercial paging, background music, distributed audio, and multi-zone sound systems.
