In this episode of Pro Acoustics Tech Talk, Nathan and Coltin are featuring the new RMA240BT and RMA350BT from Pure Resonance Audio. These rack mount mixer amplifiers with Bluetooth streaming capability are powerful and versatile enough to handle a wide variety of commercial applications.

Nathan: Hey everybody, welcome to another Pro Acoustics tech talk. I'm Nathan.

Coltin: And I'm Coltin.

Nathan: And we are back once again from our Salado, Texas warehouse to give you guys a little bit more info on a couple of our new Pure Resonance Audio products.

Coltin: Alright, Nathan. So, the new kids on the block from Pure Resonance. We want to break down both of these newer models for you. What they do, how they are different from our previous models, and walk you through the new features, what it can do for you and how it may fit your application. So break this down for me, make it simple and easy for them to understand.

Nathan: You got it. This one's going to be easy guys. Because basically, we have our new RMA240BT and 350BT. Basically, these are very, very similar, almost identical to our RMA120BTs. They've been on the market for a while. We've had these guys for a little bit now, but we wanted to make sure and give you guys a little bit more of a highlight of what's going on with them.

Nathan: Exact same input and output frames as the RMA120BT. Basically the only major difference here is the RMA120BT, when we originally released it, was 70 volts only. That's since been updated. It's now 70 volt or down to 4 Ohm. That continues with this line of amplifiers. So, that really opens up some really, really cool, more powerful applications. Before the RMA120BT would be for small 70 volt systems or individual classrooms or conference rooms, things like that. But now that we have more power here while being 4 Ohm safe as well, we can do two of our VCA8s on either of these amplifiers for more of a foreground application for retail or restaurants, as well as our line of 70 volt speaker arrays as well.

Nathan: Also, with an RMA350BT, you do have 350 Watts at 4 ohms.So you can do a couple of two-way speakers with 10 inch woofers on that and move some decent air. We're not talking about 1000 watt amplifiers here, but we're talking about very simple to use mixer amplifiers that still have decent horsepower under the hood to power a couple of speakers for a small cafetorium, auditorium, or a little bit more foreground level action. Also, I mean to really put it in perspective, if you're using our SD4 speaker arrays, say you're tapping it at the 32 watt tap, you can put almost 10 of them on this RMA350BT without the amp breaking a sweat or anything.

Coltin: That's great.

Nathan: To rehash the inputs and outputs options, you've got multiple RCA inputs, you've got a priority mic input that can be defeated to where it doesn't have to always be ducking, which we've gone over before. And then multiple other, mic input, line input options as well as the Bluetooth streaming and the media player that you have from the previous models. So, shipping now, great stock, more than happy to help however we can with any applications where you guys might need a new mixer amplifier or if you need system design, we can put something together for your church or your retail establishment or your background - or now even your foreground level - system with a very basic, easy to use mixer, amplifier. Don't have to have gone to audio school and mess with big, massive soundboards to reinforce a microphone or two. So, other than that, you know, guys, just reach out. Coltin: I'm Coltin. We'll see you guys next time.
