This Bose® Band Sound System features the Bose® Panaray® 802 Series III loudspeaker, a full-range loudspeaker designed for permanent installations and portable sound reinforcement, for both indoor and outdoor applications.
The Bose® Panaray® 802® installed sound-reinforcement loudspeaker features a full-range-driver array, eliminating the need for tweeters and crossovers, to provide unsurpassed reliability and vocal clarity. The Articulated Array® design, with wide 120° x 100° coverage, can reduce the number of required loudspeakers, while the 52-Hz low- frequency range can eliminate the need for subwoofers, providing a cost-effective solution for many indoor or outdoor installed sound-reinforcement applications.
The Bose® ControlSpace® SP-24 sound processor makes optimizing 2x4 installed and portable sound systems easy. Use the purposefully simple front panel interface for basic operations, or the intuitive SP-24 Editor software for full access to all signal processing settings.
Yamaha's audio engineers have specifically designed the new P-S Series power amplifiers to be perfect companions to the popular Club Series loudspeakers. To achieve this, they made sure that the amplifiers are capable of delivering power that matches the power handling capabilities of the Club Series Speakers, and equipped them with YS Processing (Yamaha Speaker Processing) to deliver a signal that will result in optimum system performance.
Further matching precision is afforded by Yamaha's proprietary YS Processing circuit. Each P-S series amplifier is equipped with this specially designed circuit so that it delivers output tailored to the specific response of the Club Series speakers. All models feature both XLR and 1/4-inch TRS inputs, and Neutrik Speakon, phone plug, and 5-way binding post outputs. Other features include Yamaha's exclusive EEEngine technology for high performance with exceptional efficiency, sweepable high and low pass filters for matching output to any loudspeakers, a compact and durable 2U chassis, and variable speed cooling fans.
