Williams AV IMA-540 Maxim Receiver Amplifier
The IMA-540 Maxim is Williams AV's flagship infrared classroom audio system, designed to deliver crystal-clear sound for both in-person and hybrid learning environments. Featuring dual wireless infrared microphone receivers, it supports simultaneous use of a hands-free Sapphire pendant and a pass-around IRH-35 handheld microphone (sold separately), ensuring every participant is heard. Integrated with overhead speakers, the Maxim delivers consistent, high-quality audio in classrooms, boardrooms, and conference areas.
This 50W digital hybrid Class D amplifier powers up to four 8-ohm speakers and includes four line-level inputs for auxiliary devices, a computer, or a DVD source. The system is fully compatible with hybrid learning setups, offering front-panel conference input and output for synchronization with video-conferencing applications. EchoGuard technology prevents remote audio from looping back into the conference feed, and the ALS output ensures assistive listening support. Paging pass-through and page muting features allow building announcements to be heard clearly without compromising classroom audio.
Designed for control and safety, the Maxim supports teacher security alerting via the Sapphire microphone, fire alarm muting, RS-232 remote control of all input levels, and Digital Feedback Guard to prevent audio feedback. Additional features include low-power standby mode, drop-in USB microphone charging, and flexible mounting options, making the IMA-540 Maxim an ideal solution for modern classrooms, hybrid learning, and professional presentation environments.
