Infrared Wireless Classroom System

A powerful teaching aid, this complete audio system with 4 Pure Resonance Audio C5 4" micro ceiling speakers and Azden IR-CSX infrared wireless system increases student awareness and lowers teaching fatigue. The Pure Resonance Audio C5 4" micro full-range commercial ceiling speaker features a compact, recessed design that seamlessly blends into any drop tile ceiling. The C5 achieves a smaller footprint while maintaining a robust, high-quality sound with excellent dispersion. Featuring a built-in 70-volt / 100-volt multi-tap transformer switch with a selectable 8-ohm bypass and a 4-pin Euroblock screw terminal connector, the C5 is ideal for commercial environments. The one-piece ceiling mount IRR-50P is a self-contained Infrared Receiver/Amplifier with a built-in sensor easily powers the 4 ceiling mount speakers for clean, precise audio throughout the room. Three high-performance transmitters are provided with the system: IRN-20 Teacher Pendant Microphone, IRN-30 Mini Handheld Student's Microphone and IRT-10 Line Level Audio Transmitter.

Advantages of Infrared

Infrared wireless microphone systems are the best solution for classrooms. In today's RF saturated world a regular (VHF or UHF) microphone system risks interference from a variety of other devices and sources. Cell phones, radios, TV, PA systems, police and emergency service systems, etc., can all interfere with VHF and UHF, but not with IR. Furthermore, infrared is perfect for classroom audio, since, unlike the other systems, IR is short-range, cannot penetrate walls, and is dependent on line-of-sight. This means that a school can have as many classrooms as desired with individual audio systems without fear of interference. Since the Azden system is dual-channel, the teacher can have one microphone and a second person can also have a microphone. In addition, since each classroom system is on the same pair of channels, teachers can go from room to room without having to switch microphones.

• Paging Override: The IR-CSX integrates with the school's existing audio system so school-wide announcements can always be heard
• Wireless Remote: A wireless remote control is included for volume adjustment of all 3 channels, and power ON/OFF
