Atlas Sound DR-72 65° Dispersion Horn and PD-75T 70V Compression Driver Package

This weather-resistant Atlas Sound DR-72 horn and PD75T 75W compression driver package provides superior music and voice communications over distance and ambient noise. Ideal for outdoor applications that require intelligible audio transmission over long distances or through high background noise levels and are consistently recommended for sport facilities, amusement parks, church towers, warehouses, factories, military sites, transportation terminals, and other environmentally demanding locations.

The Atlas Sound DR-72 double re-entrant 65° horn is designed for use with compression driver units to offer superior music and voice communications over distance and ambient noise. The circular projectors are equipped with a resonance damping ring for best response through an extended frequency range. Weather-resistant units will accommodate Atlas Sound PD and SD Series compression drivers or any driver with standard 1 3/8" -18 male thread coupling. The integral "U-type" steel mounting bracket provides maximum directional aiming flexibility and enhances installation capability when used outdoors or in industrial environments.

The PD75T compression driver is a fully environment-resistant 75W driver for indoor or outdoor applications and is recommended for use in expansive and/or high ambient sound-level areas. This model features a sound chamber, phasing plug, magnetic-structure components machined to optimum tolerances, 2" voice coil and offers a plane wave frequency response of 100 Hz - 3.7 kHz. This unit, which is comprised of a transformer with 16 Ω bypass, will meet a variety of applications. The PD75T provides screw-type terminals for matching direct to the 16 Ω voice coil impedance and a built-in varnish impregnated multi-tap 70.7 V line-matching transformer. Corrosion-resistant terminal connections are protected by a transparent, impact-resistant plastic cover.
