Dynasound Qt® Active Emitter Fusion Edition Sound Masking Speakers for Use with DynasoundPro DS8000 Networked Controller

The DS1320 Qt Active Emitter, Fusion Edition sound masking speakers are compatible with the DS8000. It fuses QtPro direct-field technology with DynasoundPro networked sound masking, providing the most uniform coverage and precise control available in the sound masking industry. This makes it easier to mask buildings with varied ceiling architecture – for example, buildings with both open-plenum and drywall ceilings. The DS1320 delivers quality masking and audio in a small speaker that's virtually invisible once deployed in finished or open structure ceilings.

The Qt Active Emitter is a point-source Emitter (loudspeaker) capable of both sound masking and simultaneous reproduction of clear audio sources such as paging signals. The Qt Active Emitter provides higher SPL and a broader frequency range than previous direct field Emitter offerings using a 1.25" diameter driver. Patented direct-field technology ensures both uniform, comfortable
sound masking as well as clear, articulate paging in a loudspeaker that's virtually invisible once deployed in finished or open structure ceilings. This version of the Qt Active Emitter should only be used with the DynasoundPro Networked System. When used with the DynasoundPro Networked system, power, and audio signals are delivered to the Active Emitter through the DS8000 PoE Networked Speaker Controller and a PoE network switch.

Each Qt Active Emitter, Fusion Edition speaker consists of a single 1.25" (3.17 cm), 4 ohm, full-range transducer installed in a vented enclosure. The enclosure is made to meet UL Standard 2043 requirements for heat and smoke release. The emitter provides a screw terminal plug to be used only to connect to a Dynasound DS8000 networked speaker controller. A twist-and-lock mounting ring is also provided for quick and secure mounting in ceiling materials.
