The CM82-EZ-II delivers professional-grade in-ceiling audio with a high-efficiency 8" coaxial, two-way design. Its polypropylene woofer with butyl rubber surround and 1" silk dome tweeter provides clear, dynamic sound across a wide frequency range of 65 Hz - 22 kHz (±10 dB). Housed in a sealed steel back can, this speaker ensures maximum performance while maintaining superior voice intelligibility, with an average coverage angle of 95° in the 2-10 kHz range.

Installation is fast and secure with a constant-tension fixed-wing mounting system and 21-gauge "full-metal" steel tile bridge. The included color-coded (green) tile bridge and optional pre-construction bracket simplify stocking, ordering, and installation for both sheetrock and drop-tile ceilings. A six-position tap switch supports 25V, 70.7V, 100V, and 16Ω transformer bypass settings, allowing flexible system design and reduced amplifier costs.

Durable black painted grille with rust inhibitor ensures a lasting aesthetic, while included accessories such as the tile bridge, UL-listed 0.5" flex conduit clamp, paint shield, and wire nuts make installation complete. The CM82-EZ-II meets UL1480A, UL2043, cUL, and CE standards, making it a reliable solution for commercial or residential installations. Optional accessories include a color-coded pre-construction bracket (AC-CMEZ-6/8-PCB) and junction box (AC-CM-EZ-JBOX) for further customization.
